About the Designer

From the time I was a little girl, I dreamed of being a fashion designer and working with beautiful fabrics and yarns. At just seven years old, I was determined to knit — even though all the women around me were right-handed and I was a leftie. So I taught myself. Once knitting was mastered, I turned to crochet, then hand sewing, and soon after, the sewing machine. With every new skill, I discovered the joy of turning yarn and fabric into something wearable, something alive with purpose and beauty.
At seventeen, I bought my first spinning wheel and taught myself to spin fleece into yarn. Later, I began experimenting with dyeing — both raw fleece and spun yarn — long before YouTube tutorials existed. These early adventures were all self-taught, driven purely by curiosity and a deep love of craft.
Over the years, I’ve created countless garments: my daughter’s christening gown, formal gowns, tailored suits, dresses, lingerie, resort wear, baby clothes, and everyday pieces designed to be worn and loved. Along the way, I discovered a passion for felting, and most recently, I’ve stepped into the world of footwear. There’s a kind of magic in taking a simple piece of leather and shaping it into a shoe that carries someone through their day.
Today, I see myself as a well-rounded artisan — someone who pours care and consideration into each piece, ensuring that it not only looks beautiful but also offers lasting joy and use to the wearer. For me, creating is more than craft; it’s a lifelong love affair with texture, colour, and the wonder of transforming raw materials into something that feels like magic.
